Talent Academy Festival Prep Camp - Residential (354)

This is an Elite Hockey Camp for young hockey athletes aged 16 to 21 years. The focus is on mastery of technical, tactical, physical and mental elements of player development, as well as developing general physical and technical literacy in a top hockey environment.

The high intensity Camp has been designed to help prepare young athletes for the England Hockey Talent Academy Festival. 

All programme and logistics are managed by Team Futures in association with the FIH Academy. 

Elite Camp Pathway Outcomes - the outcomes we work towards with all young athletes on camp

  • Technical mastery with application in context with pressure.
  • Testing to determine individual priorities of training for aerobic and anaerobic endurance, speed, strength and agility.
  • Knowledge and application of principles of play with a good tactical appreciation
  • Focus on game application & high-performance preparation.
  • Advanced skills performed at speed and applied effectively in context.
  • Knowledge of nutrition, anti-doping, mental health.

A focus on integrating technical, tactical, physical and mental hockey skills as part of the FIH Academy Player Pathway

Futures Camp T Shirt

All participants will receive a FIH World Hockey Camp T shirt.

All participants will receive individual development feedback from coaches throughout the camp.

Chris has vast experience of coaching and coach education across national and international levels spanning a 30+ year career in hockey.
He will lead a staff team of highly experienced, exciting and talented camp and player development experts.

Becca has been heading up Futures residential camps for many years. She brings a calm, professional efficiency to camp management.
